The puppies are raised inside the house and potty training begins when they are 4 weeks old and receiving puppy food. They receive a tremendous amount of interaction with us and their new owners can start visiting when they are 4 weeks. Given this, when the puppy leaves, it will be socialized with people, weaned from its mother, have a strong instinct to go potty and poo outside, dew claws removed, de-wormed (times), evaluated by a veterinarian, given their first (of 3) vaccinations, and provided a bag of food to maintain their normal diet.
Shown below are our 6 Bernese Moms: Bear Cub, Rose Bud, Chewy, (retired) and current moms - Abbie, Liberty in the second photo with our newest 10 month old Bernese named Maple Bar. The poodle male is chosen based on his health certificate, size, and coloring the puppies from both parents would receive. For information on the current status of puppies go to the Adopting/Updates page.
